It’s that time of year once again, and one many consider to be a rite of spring. The Festival of the Arts is back and expected to be just as good as ever for its fifty-ninth year.
This week and weekend, in Oklahoma City’s downtown Arts District, many a vendor, artist, and food truck will convene to celebrate in all forms. There will be dancing and music from performers of all ages, food vendors serving up almost anything you can think of, and visual art ranging from jewelry to paintings to photography and more.

Booths will be set up for visitors to peruse and admire beautiful works and even purchase the art to take home. With more than 114 artists participating in the festival, there will be works to match anyone’s style preferences. With all that wandering around to find the perfect piece to purchase, visitors will be sure to work up an appetite. With an abundance of food vendors to show off Oklahoma’s culinary artists, the festival has become famous for its food alone. Each vendor also partners with a local arts organization, so guests can help raise awareness and give back just by grabbing their favorite bites and beverages. Several 2024 Festival of the Art Food Award winners are expected to return this year as well, so festivalgoers can revisit their favorites from last year or try something new. A full list of 2024 winners and the food vendors attending this year can be found at artscouncilokc.com/culinary-arts
This year’s Festival of the Arts will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday and end at 7 p.m. Sunday at Bicentennial Park. Parking will be available in the Arts District Garage and nearby lots and garages throughout downtown Oklahoma City. Street parking will also be available but is limited.
