As eager as Oklahomans are to leave behind the frigid days of winter each year, it comes with the knowledge that severe weather season is right around the corner. Thankfully, the meteorologists at the National Weather Center and at the local news stations are constantly on the lookout for flash floods, hail, and, of course, tornadoes. While few of us relish the opportunity to spend an evening hunkered down in a storm shelter, it's far better to know that storms might potentially hit than being caught unawares. Back on March 25, 1948, two members of the military predicted, correctly, that the atmospheric conditions could produce a tornado before it hit Tinker Air Force Base. While there were a few injuries, there were no fatalities.

Who were the two men who predicted a tornado might hit the area of Tinker Air Force Base?
